I traveled to Cambodia early of this year coz it was a company trip.
So after so many years of traveling I've ever been to a 3rd world country,
practically I've learnt a lot of after coming back from the trip.
So yeah, here are the pictures of the
First Day of the trip(28.3.2009)
Ze
candy shop in the airport

Walking to our plane
and guess how our plane look..xD
MU's plane!!! Cool huh?;D

View from my seat's window, it was early in the morning.
I think i woke up at
3a.m. and reached the airport around
4.30a.m. coz it's a morning flight.
Early right? Tell me about it..@.@
Ok, so as we reached there we had our breakfast in one of the restaurants, on the way to restaurant my
tears immediately rolled down from my eyes.
The families, kids, people there are so poor that
90% of them are
staying by the roadside and their house are just few pieces of sticks combined together and
a piece of Big cloth as a roof.
The kids are running Naked and Bare Footed everywhere coz they can't afford to buy shirts and shoes.
Practically they eat
EVERYTHING they can find that includes:
Dogs, Cats,
Insects and so on. That's why when you are there you can hardly find any stray dogs or cats.
And let me tell you something special about Cambodians, they can speak
tons of languages without going to any language lessons. They can speak very fluent
English,
French,
Japanese ,
Korean,
Chinese,
Spanish and of course the own
Cambodian language. I was surprise when i heard them speaking so many language. Seriously, That's the cool part of them coz even thought they are poor most of them can't even afford to go to school, they can speak really so many languages.=D
Most of the people there are Buddhist and Hindu. That why they have more than
500 temples in their small country.

Siem Reap is a place in Cambodia
and
"Sweat your way to Health" was the theme for the trip and when they say sweat, they mean it.

Me and my lil bro in the hotel room
The first place we visited in Cambodia on that day was the Talent School, where the goverment choose the people that are good in Carvings, Drawings and Painting and stuffs like to do stuffs.. And this school doesn't collect fees like our school in M'sia does coz the people there couldn't afford a single penny..so yeah.

The silk "machine"

One of the talented student.
Owh.. the students there are mostly adults.;D

Look at the amount of work that they've done!

A painting of Angkor Wat(Ze most famous temple in Cambodia)

Learning Through Apprenticeship... ;)

A really nice carving of the Ze Gods

Different types of Sandstones.;D
So here are their master pieces:

This is the type of hammer that they use to carve, it's really big and it's quite heavy.

The thing she's using to carve is actually a hammer, cool huh?.xD

A Hot Chick..xD

The four headed smiling god, it actually have 5 heads according to the history but one of the god somehow chopped the fifth head off.. =S ..

Our smiling Buddha.xD
Bye bye Talent School.
Next Stop! Is our first visit to one of the Cambodia temple which is way way WAY up the hill.
The tourguide(He's quite
tall and
mucho for a Cambodian=
Hot!xD) said:"So now, we'll be going to a temple UP HILL where you can see one of the best sunset."
and he actually mean it.
while were on the way, I saw a school like any other national schools in M'sia.
Except that the students there does have parents sending them to school by cars, not even buses. All i can see was them riding bikes and walking.
Some even go to school bare footed.=(

We are finally here!
Gosh..xD

Ze mums!;D..
Chatting while waiting for the tour guide to get the tickets.

After walking Up "THE HILL" for at least 45mins we finally reached the temple.

HERE WE ARE!!!=D
My lil bro and the temple;D

Uncle P.S Lee and Nicholas
Ok, so climbing these stairs is not as easy as you think.
the stairs are really high up and it's really steep as in the each step is really narrow and some of the step are destroyed coz this temple is already 1000 years old so those that have big feet have hard time coming down, it's dangerous.

By the time we reach the top of the temple the sun have already set

A views from the top of the temple. Nice huh?=D

2 cute lil siblings British baby boys and a Cambodian baby boy.
Cute?xD
Thomas posing for the camera

Incase you haven't notice people that are wearing yellow uniforms are the Cambodian tour guides

Another view from the top of the temple from the other side of the temple.

Time to come down!X)
So after a 30 minutes ride we finally reach the restaurant.

Ze stage

Nice huh? for Cambodia restaurant?
We had buffet dinner that night,
me and
Sharon(My twin) was like non stop eating til we're full.xD
I'm telling you something although the people there are really poor but the food there taste
AMAZING! You might be thinking:
"how delicious can it be? " or
"Aiya, Malaysia also got la maybe even taste better". Well,
IN YOUR DREAMS! Coz the food there seriously
ROCKS!;D

The Cambodian chicks that are performing.
Had a lot of traditional performance maybe too much the kids(us) so we went out and walk around and played around the water fountain outside til the adults are done eating.
So back to the hotel,
The adults went out for some shopping,
so
me and
my lil bro along with
